blogs.oracle.com, Oracle Ace, OTN, does any of it matter?
I actually woke up early today to write this blog as I wanted to sleep on it first and blogging on-site is a real no-no. Anyway ...Many of you will remember the ongoing shenanigans around Justin Kestelyn's complaints about how Oracle is perceived by the

He deserves it, congrats. The man himself in action (hinted via http://wedonotuse.blogspot.com): http://crn.dk/index.php/news/video/id=23459

LOL!
Love to be a fly on the wall at the prez.
Then again, Moans would probably swat me!

This is a perfect example why I consider the entire "ace" program a waste of time and space: there are so many folks out there, like Moans, who should have been members soooooo many ages ago!...

I recognized what they are allowing anyone after I saw that man there :-)
I'm just curious... Anyone here knows him?

Thank you, thank you :-))).

I like the text: "... Mogens found Miracle...". Well, founded would have been slightly more correct, but it somehow makes more sense that I found Miracle.

So there are just short of 100 ACE's now. I remember the days when... :-)

Cheers

There goes the neighbourhood ;-)

Welcome to the Smokin' ACEs!

Cheers, APC

P.S. have you seen The Circus Of Disembowelled Plush Toys?

I agree, and don't think it should be taken too seriously, but you could always nominate some of them ..

Looks like a bit of a charlatan to me!

That is just *sick*!

I'm surprised at you!

Gosh, how am I going to keep this a secret from The Boys?

Dammit, I though I wasn't going to talk about them any more :-(

Damn, I was gonna point that out as well.
Sounds as if you are Born-Again Oraclian :-)

Cheers to the Dane!

"Mogens have worked with Oracle..."

hehe - and it seems there are more than
one ... maybe it's a new kind of human species - 'the mogens' sapiens ;-)

Wow...I've been out of touch...I just found out about Doug and Moans making the grand high pooba! Hell, I'm still trying to figure out why they yanked my blog ref from blogs.oracle.com

Mmm, yes, and it's moments like this that put it in it's proper perspective!

why they yanked my blog ref from blogs.oracle.com

They did?!

Have you tried emailing Justin Kestelyn directly to ask? It could just be a screw-up. When did that happen?

I wouldn't know how to email him. They pulled my ref about 5 days after they posted it. I thought the move was less than brilliant...and then I read lately that there is lamenting about Web 2.0 presence around Oracle...hmmm..
