Apr 4: Another Miracle Masterclass

I had a good time one night last week catching up with Thomas Presslie. It's been a while since we had a chance to spend a good few hours together because we're both always rushing about.

Anyway, he mentioned that Miracle are running a Masterclass in Edinburgh soon and, as soon as he mentioned the subject and presenter, it brought a smile to my face.

When I was over for the database forum in Lalandia last year, I noticed when I went to Mogen's toilet (this blog is taking a turn I didn't expect) that he had database-related books in there! :-) One of them stood out for me, because I'd never seen it. I thought, mmm, I must get that because it looks really interesting, but never got round to it. It's just laziness, not the £117 price tag!

Well, strike me down with a feather if Thomas isn't getting Tapio over to Edinburgh. Unfortunately I won't be able to get three days off because I'll have started a new contract, but I thought others might be interested.

Advertising over. (Actually, I do get the occasional email from companies asking for a mention here, but I only mention things I'm interested in myself ...)

Who said "tight" and "scotsman" in the same sentence...honestly! ;-)

Actually, on amazon.com it's on offer at $73 USD with free shipping...and I think I might just buy it after reading the contents.

Jeff,

I hadn't even gone to the trouble of pricing it properly - thanks.

I fixed up your link so that's it easier for others to find.

Cheers
