Jan 17: Nose Hair Cold

Christo Kutrovsky described this phenomenon to me but I hadn't realised it was true until I experienced it for myself walking in to work and a woman in the lift (elevator) said, 'it's real nose hair cold today'.

Updated later. That link wasn't such a good idea because it shows the current temperature in Ottawa. At the time I posted, it was -25 Celsius!

Maybe they react to the cold in some way? Like freezing and feeling funny?

Otherwise known as Brass monkey weather Down Under. I guess that that global warming hasn't brought a Mediterranean climate to the upper parts of North America just yet.

It had up till last week. Temperatures were reaching 12. Above temperatures are unusual for this time of the year in this part of the world.
