Nov 28: Reverse Job Advert

I've decided to move on to a fresh challenge in the new year. My contract at my current site ends on 3rd January and I've decided not to accept the offer of an extension. I've enjoyed my time there, my colleagues have been good fun and some of the work has been very interesting but I think a new environment will keep me fresh. That's one of the reasons why I enjoy contracting. Once I've put a few projects to bed over the next few weeks, something new will be welcome.

I'm well used to looking for new positions (although January isn't the best time) but if anyone hears about any interesting contracts I'd appreciate it if you could drop me an email.

I promise not to mention the cuddly toys ;-)

That sounds like an offer to good to refuse. (I think I would always swap women for whisky)

However, maybe I should see what's on offer for a few weeks - I may be able to enjoy the company of drop dead gorgeous women, beer and bags of chips ;-)

It's a minor source of frustration to me that you can't just paste a Hypertext link into the comments form here but, should you ever want to include a link, all you need to do is use the BBCode format, as mentioned below the comment form.

Here is a link to the relevant part of the document that explains how.

Disclaimer

For the avoidance of any doubt, all views expressed here are my own and not those of past or current employers, clients, friends, Oracle Corporation, my Mum or, indeed, Flatcat. If you want to sue someone, I suggest you pick on Tigger, but I hope you have a good lawyer. Frankly, I doubt any of the former agree with my views or would want to be associated with them in any way.
