Questions have cropped up about this a few times recently ...
Mica Burns (15) is my daughter. I'm probably not allowed to say much more than that because she hates the whole idea of my blog and particularly the Housemates. '

Sharon Blaikie is her mum and my ex-wife, although we're still technically married (which only goes to prove how lazy we are and how well we still get on).
Mads (or Madeleine Thrower, to give her her proper name) is my partner. I'd call her my fiancee, because we're engaged, but she hates that word. I could say so much more, but she's as shy as Mica!
H (or Heather Burns) is my 'wee sister'. She is genuinely wee in height, but is only 5 years younger than me (but acts about 20 years younger). Oh, and that 'H' isn't a blog joke. She's managed to be called 'H' since she was a teenager, even by our Mum and Dad, which is quite a trick. If you want some idea of H, visit

Oh, and I suppose I should mention Bev who is both Mad's sister and my mate Gary's wife! (Yes, I met Mads through Bev and Gary). Bev has also
