I'd like to attend, but I think I'll probably have to give it a miss this year. Part of me thinks I should go to say thanks to the nice OTN people for the ACE award. I know there'll be a bunch of old friends there, too, as well as people from the other side of the pond that I don't meet often, but I'm already taking a week off to present at UKOUG. I might even take a (gulp) holiday. (It's been a while.) I could buy a small car with the amount that each of those week-long conference jaunts costs me.
Besides, there's always next year ... and I truly appreciate the offer. In fact, now that I think of it, it's the only time I've been allowed free entry without presenting, so it would have been a nice holiday!
Then again, how could I attend one Openworld, without the other?
